dare to dream

i've had more time to dream in the past week. when the future opens up so many possibilities, one thought triggers another, and perhaps the boundaries of such dreams are limitless...

these dreams probably stem from desires of the heart. yet, what desire can be greater than the desire to walk in His path? To desire what He desires?

"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give u the desires of ur heart."
-Psalm 37:4

Am I delighting myself in the Lord in these dreams or are they mere selfish dreams of my own?

"Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain."
-Psalm 127:1

May I not be building sandcastles of my own, but investing in the solid kingdom of God that will never be shaken.

"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken,
let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably
with reverence and awe,
for our "God is a consuming fire."

-Hebrews 12:28-29
